MythRip Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
MythRip is a card-collecting game published by Ben Perkins (BTP Gaming). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play MythRip on iPhone or on the web at mythrip.expo.app. Short version: there are no accounts, your game lives on your device (and your own iCloud, if you use it), and we never sell your data.
Your game save stays with you
Your god, cards, gold, settings and progress are stored in the app's local storage on your device (or your browser's local storage on the web). On iPhone, if you are signed in to iCloud, MythRip also keeps a copy of the save in your own iCloud storage (Apple's iCloud key-value store) so it can follow you to your other Apple devices. That copy belongs to your Apple account; we cannot see or access it. You can turn it off for MythRip in iOS Settings under your name, iCloud. We do not run game servers and we cannot see your save. Deleting the app or clearing site data deletes the local copy. MythRip has no sign-up, login or user accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email, contacts or location.
Reminders, vibration and sharing
Reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device (for example, when the daily gift is ready). They are not push notifications and send nothing to us. Vibration feedback runs on your device only. When you choose to share a card, MythRip makes a picture on your device and hands it to your share sheet; where it goes is up to you, and nothing is sent to us.
Purchases (optional)
All purchases are optional and nothing is required to progress. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store; we never see your card or Apple ID details. To confirm and restore purchases we use RevenueCat, a purchase service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated ID, your purchase receipts and history, and basic device and app information (such as device model, OS version, app version, country and IP address). This is used only to verify purchases, deliver them and let you restore them. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Ads (optional, rewarded only)
MythRip never shows forced ads. An ad only plays when you tap an optional button to watch one for a small reward. Ads are served by Google AdMob. When you choose to watch an ad, Google may collect information such as your IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and an advertising identifier.
- On iPhone, before your first ad, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether MythRip may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you say no, it is not shared and ads are requested as non-personalized. You get the same rewards either way, and you can change this any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form asks for your choices before any ad loads.
- If you buy Remove Ads, ads are never loaded and ad rewards are given instantly.
See how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The web version does not show any ads.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not run our own analytics, tracking or advertising profiles.
- We do not collect data from MythRip for any purpose other than delivering purchases and the optional ads above.
Web hosting
The web version and these pages are hosted by Expo (EAS Hosting), which may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
Children
MythRip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads are limited to content rated for general and parental-guidance audiences. If you believe a child has provided personal information through MythRip, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your choices and rights
You can decline tracking, skip every ad, and delete all game data by deleting the app. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law) you may have rights to access or delete personal data held by our service providers. Contact us and we will help you with RevenueCat or Google requests.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date.
